Students who wish to apply for student employment must maintain a grade of B or better to be considered for on campus employment. Similarly, students may be hired for a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Students who are on full or partial scholarship at City may fulfill their community service obligations through their employment within the university and will be compensated for the time they work beyond their obligations. All employment is handled at the HR Office. For student employment, the approval of the office of the VP for Academic affairs is required.
Typical student employment includes assistantship roles at the science labs, computer labs, library, boats, greenhouse, cafe, bookstore, Etc.
